Marvin Gaye, a legendary artist who began his career in the early 1960s and defined soul music in the 1970s, developed his exceptional talent as a unique and outstanding vocalist from the very beginning. In addition to his singing, he also demonstrated his talent as a drummer, recording artist, songwriter, and producer, leaving credits not only on his own albums but also on many other masterpieces, until his death in 1984 at the young age of 44. This is the very rare archive of Marvin Gaye's first and last concert in Japan in the late 1970s, which was recorded and broadcast on NHK-FM. This live album is a complete recording of the broadcast.The set list covers the best tunes from 1960 to 1970, including songs from the hit album "What's Going On", "Moods Of Marvin Gaye" released in 1966, and "M.P.G." released in 1969, with overwhelming performances.
