Since their debut in 1972, the Scorpions have remained a driving force in the German HM/HR scene. One of the few German rock bands to have achieved worldwide success, the Scorpions have also gained a strong following in Japan. The Scorpions released a studio album "Pure Instinct" in May 1996, but Herman Lalebel, a member of the band for 20 years, left and James Kotak joined the band. The band will tour the world for the first time in two years with this new lineup. The concert in El Paso, Texas, the first day of the tour, was recorded and broadcast by PBS to promote the tour and the new album. This live album is based on the soundtrack used for the broadcast and captures the concert in its entirety.The set list, which includes songs from the new album as well as representative songs from previous albums, is a "best of" album at this point in time, and allows you to fully enjoy the Scorpions' live show at this point in their career!
