In the eight years of their existence, the Police released five best-selling albums, including the 1983 album "Synchronicity," which spent 17 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the U.S. album charts. The Police never released any live albums during their active period, but now three live albums from different periods of their career are available! The live album of the second half of the world tour in England and Germany, which started in February 1979 and lasted for a year and a half, is now available! This is a long-awaited release, as no live album of the Police from this period has ever been officially released! The Police actively recorded and broadcast their concerts on local radio stations in order to promote the band. In fact, this approach paid off, and the band got a breakthrough.Disc 1 is a concert in Newcastle, England, recorded and broadcast for a BBC Radio special program, and Disc 2 is a concert in Hamburg, Germany, recorded and broadcast for a WDR Radio special program, both of which are complete recordings of the concert.
