Among rock guitarists, Swedish-born Yngvay Johan Malmsteen's influence on many new guitarists is immeasurable, as he took the rock scene by storm at a young age with his highly original guitar playing, and his influence on many new guitarists is immeasurable. After starting out in the LA metal band Steeler, Malmsteen established his reputation with Alcatraz, and has since gone on to become a solo artist. His first solo album "Rising Force" released in 1984 was an explosive hit in Japan, and Yngvay decided to release a new album under his own name, "Ingvay Malmsteen Live". In response, Yngwie formed under his own name and released "Marching Out" in 1985. The concert at Nakano Sun-plaza in Tokyo on January 24 was recorded for video and TV broadcast.This release is based on the audio tape of the broadcast on PBS in the U.S., and includes all 15 songs, including intros and guitar solos. The band, consisting of three Swedish musicians and Jeff Scotto Thort of the Sons of Apollo, perfectly supports him, and the live show is a wonderful performance of the young Yngwie.
