Pink Floyd is at the top of the British rock scene, not to mention the progressive rock scene, and since releasing their debut album in 1967, the band has continued to create one-of-a-kind albums with original sound concepts that have influenced many rock bands. In 1973, the band released "The Dark Side of the Moon", which was a worldwide hit, spending 741 weeks on the U.S. album charts and selling over 50 million copies. After achieving success not only in their home country of the United Kingdom but also in Europe, Pink Floyd completed one of their best-known albums, "Atom Heart Mother," and began promotional activities even before its release. The band performed for two days at a festival in Montreux, Switzerland, and the performance was recorded live for a live album and radio broadcast. The live album was not released at the time, but now, with the discovery of an audio tape of the broadcast, it is finally being released.The set list for the 21st is 11 songs, including encores, but 10 songs are included on this album. In addition to songs from their first four albums, the band will perform "The Embryo," which is not included on the album. Atomic Heart Mother" and "Interstellar Overdrive" on Disc 2 are from the performance on the 22nd. This is a wonderful archive of the moment when Pink Floyd transformed from a psychedelic rock band to a progressive rock band, and it is now available as a CD at last! Limited First Edition!
