Tony Williams was discovered by Miles Davis at the age of 19 and joined his quintet, supporting Miles Davis during his golden years in the 60's. In 1978, at "Live Under the Sky", he formed a special band with three of his close friends from the rock and jazz scene (Ronnie Montrose/guitar, Brian Auger/keyboards, Mario Cipollina/bass). (Ronnie Montrose on guitar, Brian Auger on keyboards, and Mario Cipollina on bass), who were all close friends of his in the rock and jazz scenes, and performed as a jam band. In the second half of the concert, a drum battle with Billy Cobham, who dominated the scene with his Mahavishnu Orchestra, will take place, adding a special touch to the festival.
