Description:

New work from the next generation of acoustic guitarists who use superb technical techniques and a beautiful voice! John Gom, who looks up to Michael Hedges as his mentor, has established a technical style that includes using the body of the guitar as percussion, using harmonics for distinctive harmonies, tapping the bass part simultaneously by tapping the bass strings with his left hand, and moving up and down in pitch by turning the tuning peg as if he were playing slide guitar. John Gom's new album "The Faintest Idea" has finally arrived in Japan! Originally from Blackpool, England, he released his home-recorded debut album "Hypertension" in 2003. With acoustic drum beats, tapping techniques, and impressive harmonics under his warm voice, he discovered the hidden potential of music. In 2009, the band released "Don't Panic. The biggest turning point came when the famous British actor and TV host Stephen Fry tweeted about his video single "Passionflower" and said on a popular TV show, "I've never seen anyone play the guitar like this. He's a complete genius." which caught the attention of the whole of the UK, and the video has received 17 million views on YouTube and other media. In 2013 and 2015, he released "Secrets Nobody Keeps" and "Live In The Acoustic Asylum," respectively, on his own label. He released "Live In The Acoustic Asylum" in 2015 and "Live In The Acoustic Asylum" in 2016 under his own label and gained a strong following from fans all over the world. In addition to the soft, warm voice and superb guitar playing that he developed in his early blues days, Australian singer/songwriter and synthesizer player Andy Sorenson also participated in the production as a musician and producer, resulting in a beautifully polished product. The result is a beautifully polished album. Imported domestic edition John Gomm (g, vo) Andy Sorenson (synth)
