Atef Halim is arguably the last great master to have been directly mentored by the 20th-century violin giants Heifetz, Schering, Menuhin, and Kogan. With the unique tone he has cultivated, the world of J.S. Bach’s unaccompanied violin works comes vividly to life!
The instrument used is a “Grand Amati” (1682, Italy), a late work by Nicolò Amati. A Bach performance played with all his heart by Atef Halim, a violinist whose soul overflows with love and passion.
