The Night Rangers, an American hard rock band featuring two guitarists Brad Gills and Jeff Watson, were backed by the LA metal movement of the time, and their debut album "Emergency Directive N.R. (original title: Dawn Patrol)", released in 1982, was a big hit and became popular in Japan. Patrol)" was a big hit, and gained popularity in Japan as well. Their second album, "Midnight Madness," released in 1983, produced the smash hit single "Sister Christian," and the band became one of the top bands in Japan. This fall, the band will perform in Japan for the first time in many years, and a live album featuring their live performances at the peak of their career has finally been released! Recorded for the popular American radio program "King Biscuit Flower Hour," the album was previously broadcast only, but has now been remastered from the original recordings and is being released for the first time in its best sound quality to date.The concert was recorded on August 8, 1984 in Marquette, Michigan, as part of the "Midnight Madness Tour," which started in Santa Cruz, California, on November 23, 1983, in conjunction with the release of the album, and continued through December 31, 1984, playing 100 shows in North America alone. The album is a complete recording of the band's performance and consists of songs from their first and second albums, and is a great archive of the band's outstanding guitar performances and twin-lead songs with melodies that are full of songfulness, showing once again how great they are!
