After more than 30 years, the legendary hip-hop group Main Source, consisting of Large Professor, K-Cut, and Sir Scratch, finally miraculously releases their long-unpublished album "The Science" in an official release! The album also contains completely unreleased material that has been historically unearthed! The legendary hip-hop group Main Source, consisting of Large Professor, K-Cut, and Sir Scratch, debuted in 1991 with the release of their first album "Breaking Atoms" on the prestigious Wild Pitch label, which was highly praised as a masterpiece. In 1992, the group released "Fakin' The Funk" from "White Men Can't Rap," a spin-off of the soundtrack to the movie "White Men Can't Jump," and "Bonafide Funk," which featured guest appearances on Brand New Heavies films. While the announcement of the release of "The Science" was published in THE SOURCE magazine in the U.S., the main rapper Raj Professor left the band. The group brought in a new rapper, Mikey D., and "The Science" was completely shelved... (A song from that period, "How My Man Went Down In The Game," was included in the "Wild Pitch Classics" compilation released in 1993. (A song from that period, "How My Man Went Down In The Game," appeared on the "Wild Pitch Classics" compilation released in 1993.) The second album, "The Science," produced by the main source during his tenure at Large Professor, is one of the rarest of the rarest of the rarest, and one of the most treasured albums of 90s hip-hop. Although a small number of fragments of the album have been released on analog vinyl and bootleg, there must be many fans around the world who are waiting for the official release of the album in a cohesive form. Finally, in 2023, more than 30 years after the initial news of its release, it was miraculously released officially! The album includes classic songs such as "Fakin' The Funk" and "How My Man Went Down In The Game" that were produced and released after "Breaking Atoms," as well as "Time," "Hellavision," "Raise Up," and "Bootlegging," which core fans should be familiar with. Bootlegging" are included on the album, as well as the completely unreleased "Bootlegging".
