His first album, which was released digitally in 2020, is his first full-length album. Half-bitter gentle pop with a hint of adult intelligence, wrapped in a mild voice and solid sound design" - as a singer, guitarist, and songwriter in the band Hisakazu Kanazawa Fabric, he sings standards under the influence of Kurt Elling, Mark Murphy, Chet Baker, and others. Zachary Crawford has sung standards and gained experience on the jazz circuit under the influence of Kurt Elling, Mark Murphy, Chet Baker, and others.His love of harmonies, choruses, sharp lyrics, and jazz chords led him to the soft rock and yacht rock of the late 70s and early 80s. Drawing on these influences from the '70s and '80s, he recorded his debut album using a combination of vintage analog instruments and modern production methods. Produced by Phil Martin of Martin & Garp, the band's sound is refreshingly sophisticated and reminiscent of the West Coast music of the late 70s.
