Rio's Sunship is a trio consisting of Kenny Stover, Johnny Simone, and Alvin Few, who actually co-wrote Marvin Gaye's "Inner City Blues". This rare album released in 1978 has been reissued in paper jacket! The album includes "Give Me The Sunshine," a rare groove classic by Fabiden Flute (D&D All Stars), "I'm Back," a pleasant twilight medium floater with a great cover by Al Johnson featuring Gene Kern, and "For More" by Tavares. For More" and "Madame Butterfly", which is also famous for Tavares' version. Very popular in the free soul scene!
