Antony has received enthusiastic praise from his peers, including Bjork and Lou Reed. His "angelic voice" has attracted an endless stream of fans around the world. This long-awaited new album, which comes two years after the masterpiece third album "Swan Lights," is the culmination of Antony's live performances with an orchestra that he has been giving around the world since 2008. Starting with the wonderful new song "Cut the World" (the title track), many of Antony's masterpieces, arranged for orchestra in a completely different way from the previous album versions, emerge with an overwhelming sense of three-dimensionality in the sound image! All of the songs have been newly arranged for orchestra, and the versions are very different from the album version. The arrangements are by up-and-coming composer Nico Murie, known for his string arrangements for Bjork, Yoncie (Sigur Rós), Usher, and others, as well as by Rob Moose, Maxim Moston, and Antony himself.Not to mention Antony's vocals, which are full of the rawness and openness that only a live performance can bring, the entire album features a stunning performance by the Danish National Chamber Orchestra, which also participated in one song on the previous album, "Swan Lights". The title track "Cut The World," which opens the album, is a new song written by Antony for the stage production of "The Life and Death of Marina Abramovic" (which also features Antony and actor Willem Defoe). In addition, the over 7-minute-long track titled "Future Feminism" is a direct transcript of a speech Antony gave during the show, in which he discusses his interesting thoughts on the global environment and society, which were also the subject of the previous album, with his unique sense of humor. The Japanese version includes the complete bilingual translation! ---The Japanese edition includes the complete bilingual translation of Antony's speeches!
