Previously unreleased live performance from 1975 by Junie Morrison, who passed away in 2017, and who influenced the G-Funk sound and Solange, and who was a brilliant composer, producer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist who crossed over from the Ohio Players to P-Funk. Walter "Junie" Morrison was a composer, producer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist who traversed the Ohio Players and P-Funk. His synth performance on the Ohio Players' hit "Funky Worm" (1973) greatly influenced the later G-Funk sound, and his work on the P-Funk classics "One Nation Under A Groove" (1978) and "(Not Just) Knee Deep" ( 1979) with George Clinton. Solange included the song "Junie", inspired by and dedicated to him, on her album "A Seat At The Table" (2016), an oddity.This is a physical version of an unreleased live performance that was probably recorded after he left the Ohio Players and released his second solo album "Freeze" in 1975. The album features a medley of Ohio Players' hit songs, "Oh Me Oh My (I'm A Fool For You Baby)" by Aretha Franklin, "Surrender" by Diana Ross, and a cover of "Shakey Ground" by The Temptations, as well as songs from "Freeze". The Temptations' "Shakey Ground," to "Oh Me Oh My (I'm A Fool For You Baby). A must-listen for all Ohio Players, P-Funk, and Funk lovers!
