Downt, a band that has been expanding its music beyond the boundaries of genres such as alternative, emo, and indie rock with a presence that defies categorization, has released a full-length album on vinyl in 2024. Through energetic live performances and collaborations with overseas artists, the band has further deepened and updated the innovative spirit shown in the epic work "13th Moon" to create a world-class band sound here and now! Since its formation in 2021, downt has been active mainly in the Tokyo live scene, and has become a hot presence in the emo and alternative live house scene, releasing "SAKANA e.p.", performing at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '22 "ROOKIE A GO-GO", and releasing a compilation record "SAKANA" on the UK label Dog Knights. The year 2022 saw the release of "SAKANA e.p.", an appearance at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '22 "ROOKIE A GO-GO", the worldwide release of the compilation record "Anthology" on the UK label Dog Knights (sold out immediately), and more, making their name heard in various places.The year 2023 saw the release of "13", a major work that showed the band's new direction and expanded their activities even further.
