Description:
From the first album by UK jazz funk act Function, a cover of the eternal free soul classic "I Believe In Miracles" by the Jackson Sisters has been cut on 7"! The B-side also features a re-recorded version of Roy Porter Sound Machine's "Panama," which was only included on P Vine's compilation "Return Of Jazz Funk Spe-cial: Jazz Funk Never Dies"! The roaring drum break that bludgeons you like crazy from the intro is overwhelming! Function is a UK jazz-funk act formed by DJ/producer/drummer/multi-instrumentalist Mike Bandoni and producer Nino Auricchio. From their first album "Shining," this 7-inch cut is a cover of the Jackson Sisters' "I Believe In Miracles. While faithful to the original song, Mike's groovy drum playing makes it a danceable floor version. The B-side features a re-recorded version of Roy Porter's sound machine "Panama," which was only included on P Vine's "Return Of Jazz Funk Special: Jazz Funk Never Dies" compilation. Compared to the version on "Shining," this version is five times more thunderous, and you will be overwhelmed by the crazy drumming from the intro!
