Lettuce, a super band in the jazz-funk scene, was formed by Soulive guitarist Eric Krasnow (now departed) and other scene greats such as Adam Deitch (Dr.) and Sam Kinninger (As). From their second album "Rage!", one of their most popular releases, comes a 7" cut of their covers of Curtis Mayfield's "Move On Up" and Charles Wright & Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band's "Express Yourself". Both covers are faithfully reproduced with respect to the originals, but with a more powerful and groovy finish thanks to the band's ample ability.
