Description:

Margit-Anna Schuss, a leading harpist who has performed with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Karajan and Abbado, and is active worldwide as a soloist and educator, has released an album of masterpieces for harp and orchestra born in Paris, a place where the harp is loved. Margit-Anna Schuss has released an album of masterpieces for harp and orchestra, born in Paris, a city where the harp was loved. In Mozart, Schütz, the principal flutist of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, plays with her. <Margit-Anna Schuss (harp): Internationally active as a soloist, chamber musician, and teacher. At the age of 20, she became principal harpist of the North German Radio Symphony Orchestra and accompanied the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra conducted by H. Stein on its tour of South Asia. Since then, he has been a guest with many of the world's leading orchestras over the years. She auditioned under Karajan and was a regular guest with the Berlin Philharmonic. He has also worked with Abbado and Rattle and appeared at the Salzburg Easter Festival for over 20 years. He has received attention for his numerous recordings, and was awarded the "Grand Prix de Disc" for a collection of French Impressionist chamber music recorded for Deutsche Grammophon with the Ensemble Wien-Berlin. Her recent solo album of Schubert's "Improvisations" is an ideal demonstration of the so-called "muffling technique" with its unique fingering, which brings out outstanding clarity and shows with conviction the discoveries that can be made by daring to play a work originally written for piano on the harp. Since 2015, he has been a visiting professor at the University of the Arts in Graz, where he has been a full professor since 2005. Camerata Tokyo
