Saiyuki Kagekiden -Reload-" was performed at the Sunshine Theater in September 2015 to great acclaim.The play that you couldn't take your eyes off for even a moment! --Red Boy, the son of Ushimao, is ordered by his mother-in-law, the Jade Masked Lord, who is planning to conduct a revival experiment, to "eliminate Sanzo and his group and steal the Devil's Heavenly Scripture". If he complies with the order, he will be released from the spell of his own mother, Rasetsujo. A scientist, who sees through his doubts and weakness, brainwashes him, and he sets out on his own to eliminate the Sanzo group.Meanwhile, Genjo Sanzo, Sun Wukong, Saigojo, and Inoha-kai continue their journey to the western region of the country of Tenjikoku in order to stop the experiment to revive the Gyumawang. During their journey, they meet a boy named "Kun" who is unable to cross a river and return home. In order to reunite Kun with his family, they choose to cross the river. However, what awaits them is a battle with countless monsters that suddenly appear from the river. Includes a bonus disc with a making-of featurette (planned). Booklet enclosed (planned).
