This DVD compiles the “Beethoven Cycle”—featuring the Symphony No. 2 and No. 6 from the “Osaka Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra’s 336th Regular Concert” in 2000, where Asahina conducted the orchestra; the Symphony No. 4 and No. 5, as well as No. 1 and No. 3, from “Takashi Asahina’s Legacy 2000: Beethoven Selection”; and Nos. 8 and 7 from the “Takashi Asahina’s Beethoven Selection 2000,” and No. 9 from the “Osaka Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra: Symphony No. 9 Evening in 2000”—all combined into the “Beethoven Cycle” DVD set! Each volume includes bonus footage such as rehearsals and interviews.
