Jacob van Eyck's (1589/90-1657) "Paradise of the Flute" is a vast collection of 151 pieces (XYZ edition) for solo instruments, a very important repertoire for recorder players, including amateur performers, but there are very few recordings of the complete works, and this is of course the first attempt in Japan. In particular, this album includes only five of the complete works for two voices.
