Yukihiro Nishimoto, who serves as concertmaster of both the Sendai Philharmonic and the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra, presents the fourth installment of his recital series themed “VIOLINable—The Possibilities and Adaptability of the Violin.” Violinist Yukihiro Nishimoto launched the “VIOLINable Discovery” series in 2014, which combines performances of Beethoven’s complete sonatas with a music program supporting recovery efforts following the Great East Japan Earthquake. Now, his long-awaited fourth CD is here. With the full support of pianist Keita Ohfuse—who also performed on the second album—he presents a program that is truly a delight to listen to. In addition to his demanding role as concertmaster of the Sendai Philharmonic, Nishimoto has also served as concertmaster of the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra since this year.
