The Ensemble Wien-Berlin (EWB) is the world's premier woodwind quintet, made up of top players from the major orchestras of Vienna and Berlin. In 2013, the 30th anniversary of EWB's founding, the quintet will be joined by Karl-Heinz Schütz (solo flutist of the Vienna Philharmonic), Jonathan Kelly (principal oboe player of the Berlin Philharmonic), Andreas Ottensamer (principal horn player of the Berlin Philharmonic), and Stefan Dohr (principal horn player of the Berlin Philharmonic), who has been with the quintet since 1999. The long-awaited album by EWB, which takes a new step forward with the replacement of Andreas Ottensamer (Principal Clarinetist of the Berlin Philharmonic) and Richard Galler (Principal Bassoonist of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra), is now available!
