His performances of Schumann and Mendelssohn at the inaugural concert and the live CD Mendelssohn "Hymn" were highly praised and enthusiastically received by many newspapers and magazines, including the Asahi Shimbun for your Collection recommended disc, Record Geijutsu Special Selection disc, Nikkei Shimbun "Disc Review" recommended disc, etc. His second CD is The second CD is Bruckner's "Romantic" from the December subscription concert in the same year. With the mysteriousness of Bruckner's performance, the tempo setting very faithfully derived from the written score, and expression that is not influenced by convention, Pommer and the Sapporo Symphony Orchestra invite the listener into the world of Romantische, as the composer must have intended.
