After graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts, violinist Yukihiro Nishimoto received a Diploma with First Class Honors from the Royal Northern College of Music in the U.K. He has been based in the U.K. and has performed around the world, and after returning to Japan in 2010, he has been active in Japan, and since 2012 has held the important responsibility of concertmaster of the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra. This album is a recording of the memorable first live performance held on December 9, 2014. His lively, dynamic, and sensitive performance, which expresses the beauty of life as it is, leaves the listener with a refreshing impression. The limpid piano playing of Atsushi Yamanaka, a young and talented composer, is also noteworthy.
