Description:
To commemorate the 85th anniversary of musician Glenn Gould’s birth and Canada’s 150th anniversary, the Glenn Gould Foundation in Canada organized special exhibitions in several locations around the world. In Japan, Ryuichi Sakamoto—who had admired Gould’s musicality and unique performance style since childhood— and has always held him in the highest regard, served as curator for the “Glenn Gould Gathering,” which took place in December 2017 at the Sogetsu Kaikan (Aoyama, Tokyo).
