Disc 1, "The Get Down Brothers," is an all-new album, produced by longtime friend Ski Beatz, who has lost the nostalgic sampling of the first album, and now offers a full set of futuristic, brain-striking beats that are typical of Ski Beatz's recent work. The production, however, is still Camp Lo's style, with a few funny bits and pieces to enhance the two MCs' upper-class interplay, as one would expect from a veteran beat craftsman who knows his stuff. Disc 2, "On The Way Uptown," is a collection of treasures including demo versions of classic songs from the band's first period, such as "Luchini" and "Coolie High.The one-loop track with a 90's-style sampling material pushed to the forefront and the rough-hewn flow of the two intertwined with it, this is a nice compilation disc that will surely immerse you in the back-to-90's vibes.
