Description:

New album from Jeff Mills, a world-renowned musician who continues to update techno! Metropolis Metropolis" is the first reworking in 23 years of the soundtrack to the classic science fiction film "Metropolis" and presents it as a completely new work of art! The "Metropolis" soundtrack was released in 2000 and was developed as a track format focusing on specific parts of the film "Metropolis". The "Metropolis" album was the soundtrack composed for the one-hour edited version of the film "Metropolis" at the time of its production, but in 2010, a section was discovered in Argentina that had been cut out of the film at the time of its release. The album is a complete reissue of the 147-minute version that was later released in Argentina. Therefore, "Metropolis Metropolis" was composed according to the plot and script of the film, and although the original 147 minutes of music was the same as the complete reissue, it was packaged as a 75-minute excerpt for the album, which was released as the soundtrack. The soundtrack is now being released as a soundtrack. This electronic symphonic harmony work reflects the experimentation that has taken place in collaboration with classical music over the 20 years since the release of the album "Metropolis", and the results of that experimentation. based on the environment of the scene rather than simply following the story. 2) As a story set in the year 2000, the choice of sound and material refers to some future commonality and foresight between the genres of classical and electronic music, between man and machine. 3) In many parts of this work, the music is performed in unison. This symbolizes the hopeful nature of the narrative development. It was and still is great to have produced the music for Fritz Lang's masterpiece "Metropolis" for so many years. This piece is a "man versus man" story with the help of machines. This dramatic theme is as universally valuable and accessible today as it was in 1927. It is a film that should not only be enjoyed, but also given renewed attention and consideration. Jeff Mills
