SOA is a singer/composer from Osaka who has been active in the national Jazz scene since 2016, having released two self-produced EPs in the past and her first full album "Voice of Buoy" in 2020. Their rare sound style, which interweaves pop melody lines and free jazz sounds, continues to steadily strengthen the light it radiates in the scene. This work was produced and recorded independently by her new unit "SOA NEW QUINTET," which began working with young players active in the Kansai scene, including Koji Muto (sax), Shunpei Ito (gt), Kosuke Sawada (ba), and Daiei Suzuki (dr), who play a wide range of Jazz and Hiphop.
