RS5pb (RS5pieces Band), a band that depicts the ultimate in avant-garde music led by trumpeter Shinpei Ryoke, who has attracted attention not only from Japan but also from overseas, has released its first original full-length album in about four years. The album features 10 thrilling and introspective songs. The album title "TOTEM" refers to the idea of symbols such as wild animals and plants religiously associated with groups such as tribes and families, and music is always evolving, it is greatly influenced by the times and environment, it is born influenced by various things, and it is filled with wishes and prayerful thoughts that cannot be expressed in words. This new work is filled with wishes and prayers that cannot be expressed in words. The cool and nihilistic sound, which is based on jazz but has avant-garde and hardcore aspects, is made flesh and blood by the slow and steady performance of Shinpei Ruike and other spirited members who have accumulated a lot of career experience, and is a unique sound that makes not only domestic but also overseas freaks go crazy.
