The third CD by Satoru Adjimine, a popular jazz pianist proudly known in the Kansai region! A unique collection of jazz standards, anime and J-POP masterpieces, all performed on solo piano. This is the third CD by Satoru Adjimine, a jazz pianist active mainly in the Kansai region. He has released two CDs so far: "For Lovers (2009, BLUE LAB RECORDS)" and "To Sing From Memory (2017, Waon Records)". Adjimine is now 65 years old. In addition to performing live in the Kansai area, he runs a music school, Real Music Studio, and teaches younger students. He is a sideman in the jazz guitarist Kazuhiko Takeda's trio, which has released three CDs. He is also an acclaimed vocal accompanist. This CD is a collection of 14 solo piano performances. The CD includes 5 jazz standards, 2 originals (actually one is a different version of the same song), 1 classic, and 1 chanson, which is not that unusual for a jazz pianist, but it also includes an anime song (Songs of Sumijiro Kamakado) and 4 J-POP songs (Hikokikumo, Too Far Away, Hatsukoi, and Nesetsu), Nesuki).Although he is a pianist with his roots in jazz, his repertoire is not limited to jazz, and he has worked on a wide variety of music, which is quite natural for him. Although more than twice as many pieces were performed for the recording, he listened to them over and over again, and finally narrowed them down to 14 pieces (13 pieces plus one original version). This CD is a Song Book of Satoru Anjimine, in which Anjimine carefully sings each of the songs. This CD is the first release on the new ShinRec label. The label believes in recording with a sense of air using a single point recording with two microphones and high quality DSD 5.6MHZ recording.
