Screamo to sound in the deepest place of the heart, the first album of the Italian intense Chivala is completed. Formed in Italy at the end of 2017, Chivala has released a number of splits and EPs so far and performed at the Ultimate Screamo Fest in Warsaw as well as the Miss The Stars Fest, a DIY festival in Berlin. The band has been gradually gaining recognition in the underground Screamo/Post Hardcore scene, and in 2024, they finally completed their first album. Originally, the band was known for its classical compositional beauty and melodies characteristic of European hardcore, and its high level of expressive power that can be felt in the precision of its chorus work, which is relatively rare in this type of band, as well as its emotional performance that is on the verge of explosion. After the Corona Disaster, which had a great impact on the scene, the band seems to be pursuing a Screamo sound that can be heard in a deeper place in the heart. Boato' is an elaboration of mourning," the band says, "a process of loss as well as a search for lost fragments of oneself."To open a new door in the darkness. Although abstract, this is a living Screamo philosophy reflected in the artwork of this album, and an expression of the current band's not nostalgia.
