Description:

A must-listen for AOR fans! The 16th GEYSTER album released in 2024 with melting Fender Rhodes sounds and melodies is here! A must-listen for AOR fans! Fender Rhodes and melodies melt away on Geyster's 16th studio release in 2024! Geister's 16th studio album is an ode to California's ghost towns. Most of the song titles on the album are named after ghost towns. They are also very much inspired by the work of German-born American landscape painter William Wendt (1865?1946) (also used in the album's artwork). Geister, aka Gael Benjamin, wanted to record an instrumental album using Fender Rhodes, and the idea came to him in 2020 while traveling in the Southern California desert with his good friend Joachim Garaud. Thus began the recording process with a 1977 Fender Rose Mark 1 electric piano."All About Our Love," which opens the album, and "Wherever The Wind Blows," which closes the album, were co-written with U.K.-based lyricist Nick Mawson. The album is perhaps the most introspective landscape of Gael Benjamin's career.
