DISAFFECT had been scheduled to make their long-awaited Japan tour in September 2026, but the tour was postponed due to an injury sustained by a band member. In preparation for their eventual Japan tour, they are releasing a compilation CD of their discography in advance. The leading names in Scottish hardcore are undoubtedly SEDITION, SCATHA, and DISAFFECT. The lineage of these bands—with SEDITION and DISAFFECT active together in the early ’90s, followed by members joining forces to form SCATHA—is an integral part of the history of Scottish hardcore. This movement, including its unique artwork rooted in Celtic culture, continues to influence the world to this day. This release is a discography CD featuring all the material DISAFFECT produced from their formation until their temporary disbandment in 1994. We hope you’ll fully enjoy all 36 tracks, packed to the very limit of the CD’s capacity.
