After winning the Grand Prix at the Yokohama Jazz Promenade Jazz Competition in 2005, he became the first Japanese to perform at the Stockholm Jazz Festival in 2007, and in 2010, he won third place in the "Unfolding Universe" jazz category at the International Songwriting Competition, the largest composition competition in the United States. In 2010, she won the third prize in the jazz category of "Unfolding Universe" at the International Songwriting Competition, the largest composition competition in the U.S., and her "Soul Travel" was selected as a semi-finalist. Like her highly acclaimed previous album "Music In You," which reached No. 1 on the Tawareco Jazz Chart, this album was recorded with her regular trio of Yasuhiko "Hachi" Sato (b) and Kazumi Ikenaga (ds), and while continuing the trend from "Music In You," the content focuses on solo and ensemble work. The album is finished with a focus on solos and ensembles, in the vein of "Music In You".The title track "Sympathy," with its fragile yet beautiful piano melody, opened the show, followed by "Scarlet," a fast-paced number with delicate cymbal work and dignified piano that spins fluidly, and then "Tack," which means "thank you" in Swedish, featuring a graceful dancing ensemble of piano, bass, and drums.
