In 2026, as they mark their 15th anniversary, foxcaptureplan will sequentially release a special series of albums on their independent label "CapturisM." featuring their 10 original albums released from their debut through 2021, all fully remastered and expanded with new recordings. The second installment features their 4th album *BUTTERFLY*, 5th album *FRAGILE*, and 6th album *UИTITLƎD*, all released between 2015 and 2017. These three albums mark a turning point for fcp, as they broke out of the piano trio mold to incorporate strings and synthesizers. The 4th album, *BUTTERFLY*, boldly features strings and includes 17 distinctive tracks, such as the lead single “ButterflyEffect”—boasting fcp’s “fastest-ever” tempo—and “The Geometry of Chaos and Creation,” which features Naruyoshi Kikuchi on soprano saxophone. The nostalgic soundscape is soothing, and if you listen closely to the depths created by its loops, it draws the listener into a sonic world akin to peering into a kaleidoscope. The album also includes tracks from the mini-album *UNDERGROUND* and a re-recorded version of “Supersonic.”
