Gojira Records, Japan's first label specializing in punk music, was born out of Tokyo Rockers (1978~79), which marked the beginning of the Japanese punk rock scene. The compilation album "Gojira Special Dinner" (1983) of the singles released on Gojira Records has been straight reissued for the first time in 41 years! The album was remastered based on the master tapes from the first CD release and LP reissue in 1988. The A1 size inner sleeve is also faithfully reissued as per the original LP. [The Mirrors] Formed in 1977 by Hiroshi Higo, who had been active in 3/3 with Rek and Beard of Friction, the Mirrors declared the dawn of Japanese punk and influenced many bands. [Mr. Kite] The band is unique in its literary quality, centered around the female Vo Jean. Also participated in "Tokyo Rockers" (1979/CBS Sony). [Tsunematsu Masatoshi] Includes a solo single from just before he joined Friction. [Fresh] Recorded with Gaku Torii's band, PAIN, but went into Okura after PAIN broke up. The vocalist is a young 16-year-old Kan Takagi. [Maria023] Positive punk charismatics Genet of Automod and Non of Non Band formed the band in 1978, and the clash of their strong personalities was well received. This album contains a single recorded after Non's departure the following year in 1979.Members TEIYU and OTO then joined Jagara.
