International Harvester, nicknamed the "Scandinavian Amondur" for their anti-imperialist sound and resistance to the environmentally destructive Western culture, is now available for the first time on CD in a paper jacket from their mysterious heyday! The most important Scandinavian psychedelic band International Harvester's unreleased live recordings from half a century ago are now available on CD in paper jacket for the first time in the world! Originally released in 2018 as an analog box of 1,500 limited editions worldwide, this item quickly disappeared from the market. This is the CD version of "Remains 1-3," which was included on three of the five discs in that box! This album, "Remains 3," contains seven performances from 1968 to 1969, mainly improvisations at "Cafe Marx" of the Communist Youth League and in the northern city of Umea. The live recordings have a great significance in the sense that it delves into the trajectory of this important band, which has been shrouded in mystery for many parts of the history of Scandinavian psychedelic rock. The sound sources, which have been sealed away for half a century, are no longer so much recorded music as they are precious air that has been preserved.A very valuable release for the history of Scandinavian psychedelic music, beyond the music itself! The master was restored and remastered by Anders Lind of SILENCE from a cassette tape. Includes an interview with Tomas Tidholm (Vo, Horns).
