The group has completed a shoegaze dream pop sound that has evolved into a challenging idol pops work that goes back and forth between eras, with Ichiro Yoshida's Inexplicable World at the helm and a talented production team. The idol group "RAY", whose concept is "fusion of different fields" and "overwhelming soloism", finally releases its second album "Green", which is the evolutionary successor to its first album "Pink". The lead track is "Gravity," a full-fledged shoegaze tune produced by Daniel Knowles of the British shoegaze band AmusementParks on Fire, and the album features Ichiro Yoshida's Inexplicable World and Yusuke Hata (cruyff in the bedroom), TomoyaMatsuura (monocism), Azusa Kan (For Tracy Hyde/April Blue), Yusei Tsuruta (17 and the Berlin Wall), ishikawa (Dead My Girlfriend), Kei Toriki (Tomorrow's Epic), and a talented production team.While further sharpening the shoegaze dream pop sound that has become synonymous with the group, it also actively incorporates electronic elements such as electro shoegaze, techno-pop, and synthwave. In addition, power ballads, city pop, poetry reading, acoustic, and other elements previously unfamiliar to RAY are also incorporated, resulting in a challenging idol pop work that straddles the boundaries of the times.
