Description:
The band was formed in Los Angeles in 1983, just as the so-called "LA Metal" movement was gaining momentum. The name of the band was inspired by the name of a woman who is said to have been involved in the slaughter at the end of 19th century. Known for their shock rock style started by Alice Cooper, Kiss, and others, the band is sometimes considered glam-oriented, but their musical sound was influenced by traditional heavy metal such as Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, and Iron Maiden. The band's energetic activity throughout the 80's, including studio albums that charted on the Billboard charts and were featured prominently in the documentary film "The Metal Years," established the band's status as a solid performer. The band has been active to this day, despite several periods of inactivity. This is their second album, released in 1986. It is a work that basically follows the style of the previous album while improving the quality of the production, and it was the first time that the album was ranked on the Billboard charts. This time, four demo tracks are included as additional bonus tracks.
