Along with "Masked Rider," Shotaro Ishinomori's other masterpiece, "Cyborg 009," continues to attract fans in Japan and abroad today. The animated feature films "Cyborg 009 the Movie" (1966) and "Cyborg 009: The Monster War" (1967) have been re-released in a 2-disc set! The music that became the flesh and blood of boys and girls throughout the two theatrical versions and the animated TV version was composed by Taichiro Kosugi, who studied under Akira Ifukube and has composed more than 300 film scores. These two works, which were the foundation of the anime series but have been difficult to obtain, have been digitally mastered and brought back to life in their entirety! This essential disc also includes multiple versions of the theme songs and many bonus tracks, including unused soundtracks!
