Description:
Godflesh, the originators of industrial metal, have been in Japan since 2012 and 2015, and it has been three years since their "Decline and Fall EP" and "The World Lit Only by Fire" (both in 2014). This album is a kind of "problem album" that Justin himself calls "quite different. Some of the songs are truly Godflesh with its cold machine beats and heaviness, others are more focused on the over-run beats like JK Flesh or Techno Animal, others are beautiful soundscape guitar like Yesu, and still others are introspective solos and solitude like Final. The range is wide. I get the impression that all styles have been consolidated into Godflesh, rather than being divided into different names based on sound, as has been the case in the past. It shows Justin's seriousness.
