Description:

Their 13th original album is here—their first release in 5 years and 9 months since their previous album, *AKIRA*! A massive new album is born. The tracklist includes “Sōbō” (theme song for the film *If I Could Meet You Again on the Hill Where Those Flowers Bloom*), which was a hit across generations; “Jupiter feat. Hiroshi Inaba” (theme song for the movie *The Last Man -FIRST LOVE-*), the instrumental theme song “Mugenkai” (The Phantom World), originally composed for the movie *Black Showman* in which he starred, “Gravity” (theme song for the Nippon TV information program *DayDay.*), which is packed with musical experimentation, "Ryū" (theme song for the film "A New Interpretation of the Bakumatsu Era"), which strongly evokes the spirit of Ryōma Sakamoto—a character Fukuyama himself portrayed in a NHK Taiga drama; and the newly released track "Applause" (theme song for the Nippon TV drama "Mr. Tatsuki Is Too Sweet!")—this album compiles the songs Masaharu Fukuyama has released from 2021 to 2026. This latest release captures the current state of Masaharu Fukuyama, who has achieved tremendous evolution and depth as a singer-songwriter over the 5 years and 9 months since his previous album. The first-press limited edition LIVE video disc features "FUKUYAMAMASAHARU35THANNIVERSARYDOMELIVE2025//SOUL," a series of six concerts held in three cities nationwide that drew 200,000 attendees to commemorate his 35th anniversary since his musical debut. The concert at Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka was captured with overwhelming scale and meticulous camerawork using a total of 58 cameras. This video work fully captures the frenzy of the dome concert, which, 35 years after his 1990 debut, sublimated his gratitude to the fans who have walked alongside him all this time and the songs he has continued to express under the theme of “SOUL.” Additionally, it includes the latest live footage from the setlist—which blends new and classic songs like "Ryū" and "In the Rain of Memories"—taken from the April 24 and 25 performances at Nippon Budokan during the currently ongoing national arena tour, "WE'REBROS.TOUR2026 Ryū, Kaminari, Sōshō (Dragon, Thunder, and the Voice)." Additionally, the package includes two special, non-commercial guitar picks—"SOUL" and "Kaminari"—originally produced for each respective live performance.
