The Beatles’ 60th Anniversary of Their Visit to Japan This year marks the 60th anniversary of The Beatles’ historic concerts at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo from June 30 to July 2, 1966, which sent a sensation throughout Japan. To commemorate this milestone, *Please Please Me* and *With The Beatles*—originally released in 1966 as commemorative albums for their visit—will be reissued as SHM-CDs in paper sleeves featuring recreations of the original artwork. Based on the Japanese-edited LP of *With the Beatles*, which was released in 1966 to commemorate their tour, these editions feature stereo recordings of songs that had previously only been available in mono in Japan. They come in a deluxe package featuring a jacket and obi strip with unique designs, as well as an 8-page insert booklet containing color photographs and lyrics. ・Specifications that reproduce the artwork of the Japanese first-press LP as faithfully as possible ・Paper sleeve SHM-CD format ・Miniature reproduction of the obi strip from the Japanese first-press LP ・Includes a six-fold poster (H358mm x W240mm) ・Track listing follows the UK original album ・Features audio remastered in 2009
