Just six months after their indie debut, they successfully held their first live concert, “Heine,” at Nippon Budokan in 2024, and went on to embark on a world tour at an unprecedented pace. Upon their return to Japan in the summer of 2025, they launched their first Japan tour, “1st JAPAN TOUR Flame Medusa,” visiting Tokyo, Osaka, and Aichi, and concluding with a final performance at Toyosu PIT. Phantom Theta, continuing their meteoric rise, has announced the release of their second single, "Horror Queen," a work destined to define the group’s symbol. The lead track of this release, "Horror Queen," was written, composed, and arranged by Vocaloid producer Tenihowa, who previously created "Zokuzoku," one of Phantom Theta’s signature songs. This track embodies the current evolution of Phantom Theta beyond "Zokuzoku." Based on the "horror" concept, it presents the group reigning as queens, making it a work that can be described as the culmination of their career. The B-side track is "Moi-kai?" (One More Time?), written specifically for this release by Hitoshizuku × Yama△. This song also serves as the ending theme for the TV anime "The Strongest Profession Isn't a Hero or a Sage, But Apparently an Appraiser? (Tentative Title)," airing in the April 2026 season.
