Fukase, member of SEKAI NO OWARI, releases his long-awaited first solo album. Circusm (pronounced: sarcasm) is a coined word combining circus and sarcasm, released via the renowned hip-hop label Def Jam Recordings. This album expresses personal narratives, modern society, and the duality and diversity of media. It portrays the contradictory situation of living amidst things constantly injected and forced upon us by the media, while simultaneously being conscious of it and questioning it. Amidst this confusion, memories of friends, family, and private life suddenly surface. It captures such moments, recorded like fragments of emotion (Fukase). While Fukase produced most tracks, "Jpop" was produced by Jeff Bass and Jake Bass (known for early Eminem work), and "Bullying Lovers" was produced by Shintaro Yasuda (known for Ariana Grande and XG).
