Japan-only CD release! This new album "Mickey Punk" features newly recorded punk rock covers of all the classic Disney songs by famous rock/alterna/pop punk bands as well as fresh, up-and-coming artists. The album features a variety of artists who have come together to create a punk-rock arrangement of Disney's classic songs, which have a nostalgic and energetic feel to them. The Canadian band Simple Plan, which is also extremely popular in Japan, performed a cover of "Feel the Love" from the Disney animated film "The Lion King," which celebrated its 30th anniversary in theaters this year, and New Found Glory, a melodic punk band formed in 1997 and one of Florida's most popular bands, performed a cover of "Feel the Love" from "The Lion King. The New Found Glory, a melodic punk band from Florida formed in 1997, covered "Part of Your World," a classic from "The Little Mermaid," and other gorgeous covers by popular bands of the past were also performed. Other well-known bands such as Yellowcard, Plain White Teeth, and Boys Like Girls also participated.The band Magnolia Park, a band that is making a splash with its musicality that incorporates a wide variety of genres including punk, pop, metal, and hip-hop, and LOLO, a next-generation pop-punk singer-songwriter from Canada who became popular on TikTok, and other up-and-coming, fresh bands/artists are also participating in the festival and are creating a buzz. The newest up-and-coming bands/artists are also participating in the project, and are attracting a great deal of attention.
