Norah Jones has won nine Grammy Awards to date, and her first concert in Japan in five years, in 2022, was a big hit. Since then, she has continued to release new albums, including collaborations with Ravey, Dave Grohl, Robert Glasper, Logic, and others who have appeared on her podcast "Norah Jones Is Playing Along," as well as a deluxe edition of "Little Broken Hearts. She has been releasing her 9th and long-awaited new album, "Little Broken Hearts". This album is produced by Leon Michaels, who also produced Nora's first Christmas album "I Dream of Christmas" released in 2021. This will be the first original album in about four years since 2020's "Pick Me Up Off the Floor," and almost all parts were recorded by Nora and Leon together.The 12 songs on the album are full of vibrant and positive content about feeling free, wanting to dance, and embracing what life has to offer. The down-home, earthy sound is also impressive, nostalgic yet somehow new. This is a must-listen album that shows a new side of Nora that has not been present in her previous works. About this album and its first single, "Running," Nora says, "I named the album 'Visions' because a lot of the ideas came to me in the middle of the night or just before bedtime, and 'Running' was one of those songs that made me feel half asleep and a bit awake. We wrote most of the songs the way we did, with me on piano or guitar and Leon on drums, just jamming. I like the rawness of it, and I think it turned out to be very garage-y but soulful. That's the origin of Rion's sound, and it's not too perfect, which is part of its charm. The Japanese edition of the album includes the single "Can You Believe," released in June 2023, as a bonus track.In addition, a limited edition, single layer SACD-SHM version will be released simultaneously only in Japan.
