The 21 newly added songs (12 on the "Red Disc" and 9 on the "Blue Disc") showcase The Beatles' best songs more than ever. In recent years, including "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" (2017), "The Beatles ("White Album")" (2018), "Abbey Road" (2019), "Let It Be" (2021), "Revolver" (2022) For the release of The Beatles Special Edition album, several songs from "The Beatles 1967-1970" and several songs from "The Beatles 1962-1966" have been newly stereo mixed and Dolby Atmos-mixed, and also included in " The Beatles 1" (2015) were given new stereo mixes for "The Beatles 1" (2015).All other songs not included on these releases were newly mixed in stereo and/or Dolby Atmos by Giles Martin and Sam Okell at Abbey Road Studios with the help of Wingnut Films' audio demixing technology (Dolby Atmos is digital only). Both collections include a newly written essay by journalist and author John Harris. Commonly known as the 2023 edition of the Red Disc. All tracks are mixed sound. 12 additional tracks [Japanese only] SHM-CD specification with bilingual lyrics with English commentary translation.
