Japan original project commemorating the 10th anniversary of their debut! This is a Japan original project commemorating the 10th anniversary of the release of their debut album "The 1975". Matthew Hilly, the band's frontman, has selected songs from the past five albums that are important to Japanese fans. Two songs from each album will be included on 7" vinyl records in the image colors of the album jackets (Vinyl 1: clear, Vinyl 2: pink, Vinyl 3: white, Vinyl 4: yellow, Vinyl 5: blue), and released as a box set (5 7" vinyl records). The band's love for their Japanese fans made this a memorable product, and they finally made it to their first headlining slot at Summer Sonic in 2022, and in October of the same year, they released their fifth album, "Being Funny In A Foreign Language" (Vinyl 4: yellow, Vinyl 5: blue). ) in October of the same year.In April this year, at the peak of their career, the band completed the largest Japan tour in their history, "THE 1975 AT THEIR VERY BEST JAPAN 2023," with great success. ), and the tour drew a total of 42,000 people. The pop-up store held in Harajuku, Tokyo during the same period was a great success, with long lines of people forming every day.
